It can also offer non-invasive ventilation in ST or AVAPS/iVAPS modes for people with respiratory insufficiency, and it is suitable for both hospital and home use.

Key Features

The BiPAP machine delivers air at two pressure levels:

1. Inspiratory Positive Airway Pressure (IPAP): Higher pressure to help you breathe in.
2. Expiratory Positive Airway Pressure (EPAP): Lower pressure to make breathing easier.

Spontaneous/Timed Mode

The DreamSleep BiPAP machine uses advanced technology to help you breathe better. It provides air pressure to help you breathe and has a backup feature to ensure you get enough breaths per minute, even if you stop breathing alone.

APCV Mode

APCV mode (Assisted Pressure Control Ventilation) is often used in hospitals for patients with rapid, shallow breathing and low lung volume. It is recommended that patients switch to ST mode after leaving the hospital and not use APCV mode for long periods.

Pressure Range

The DreamSleep DS8 offers a pressure range of 4-30 cm H2O, wider than standard CPAP devices. This makes it ideal for people with central sleep apnea who need more air pressure than those with obstructive sleep apnea.

Auto ON/OFF

With the DreamSleep DS8, you can start and stop your therapy with three deep breaths. Set your preferences, and the machine will begin when you start breathing into the mask. To stop, remove the mask, and the machine will turn off automatically.

Heated Humidifier

The detachable heated humidifier helps prevent issues like rainout, dry throat, dry mouth, and nasal congestion. If you prefer not to use it, you can remove it or leave the water chamber empty.

Auto Ramping

Auto ramping gradually increases the air pressure after you fall asleep, ensuring a comfortable and quiet experience. Set your preferences, and the machine will take care of the rest.

Bright Screen

The machine has an ambient light detector that dims the screen at night, so it won’t disturb your partner.
